Admission Fees
We offer a number of attractive and affordable field trip packages. We require reservations and full payment at least two weeks in advance of your visit. Please note that coupons, passes or membership discounts do not apply to the group rate. Groups must have a minimum of 10 persons to receive group pricing.

Basic Package
Admission: $6 per student/adult
Chaperones: see Chaperones section below
Exhibits/Attractions/Programs: Includes admission to Great Lakes Science Center exhibits and NASA Visitor Center. Includes one free science demonstration* and space to eat lunch. Demonstrations must be requested at time of booking and are subject to availability. Specially requested demonstrations are not available on Tuesdays.
Add a Hands-On Workshop. Enjoy in-depth sessions on popular topics that will increase the educational impact of your visit. $65-$120 per class. Call 216-621-2400 for information.
Pick 2 Package
Admission: $9 per student/adult

Free Tuesdays
Great Lakes Science Center now offers free general admission to the NASA Glenn Visitor Center, Great Lakes Science Center and special exhibitions on Tuesdays to all youth (visitors 18 and under or any student up through 12th grade.) Reservations are required for school groups and subject to availability. One chaperone is admitted free for every seven students. Please call 216-621-2400 for more information.

Payment Policy
Payment and Confirmation
Full payment must be received at least 14 business days in advance of your trip. Great Lakes Science Center accepts purchase orders, school checks, major credit cards, and cash. A confirmation packet will be sent to the contact address immediately following the completion of the reservation. Please review this carefully to assure you have everything you need to make this trip a fun, educational, enriching experience. Please sign and return your confirmation and payment information at least 14 days prior to your visit. Changes made to your reservation within 14 days of your visit cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 14 days in advance of your trip. Email address and fax number are included for your convenience should cancellations or changes become necessary. If you must cancel, please let us know in writing at least 48 hours prior to your visit. This enables us to allow other reservations in that time period. A written cancellation within 14 days in advance of your visit may be sent via email (edhelp@glsc.org), fax (216) 696-2142 or direct mail to Great Lakes Science Center, 601 Erieside Ave., Cleveland, OH 44114. Telephone cancellations cannot be guaranteed.
Great Lakes Science Center has a no-refund policy. Every effort will be made to reschedule school groups, subject to availability. Failure to return the confirmation form does not constitute a cancellation and all fees will apply.

Inclement Weather
If your school is delayed or closed on the day of your visit, please call (216) 621-2400. Our Reservations team will do their best to adapt or change your schedule. Rescheduling of OMNIMAX® films is subject to availability.
If Great Lakes Science Center is delayed or closed on the day of your visit, we will notify you of the change, and work with you to reschedule your visit.

If your group arrives late, we will do our best to accommodate you. Late entry into the OMNIMAX® Theater is not permitted.

Chaperones
Great Lakes Science Center requires one adult chaperone for every seven students. Chaperones within the one-to-seven ratio receive free admission to any Science Center attraction. Additional chaperones must pay regular admission. Teachers and chaperones are responsible for the behavior and safety of their students. We reserve the right to eject groups or group members who are disruptive to other guests or do not follow Great Lakes Science Center safety regulations or rules.

Lunch
Pre-Order Lunches
Pre-order your lunches for convenience and savings. Let us prepare your students’ favorite pizza, sandwiches, beverages and more. When you call to make your reservation, please be sure to let our reservations agent know that you are interested in pre-ordering lunches. A menu and order form, with our delicious options, is included in your pre-visit information packet. See our lunch menu here. To make arrangements, call ARAMARK at 216-696-3386.
Brown Bag
As space permits, students can enjoy their lunch “picnic style” at the Science Center. Weather permitting, groups are welcome to dine outdoors along the harbor. Please let a reservations agent know at the time of booking if you plan to eat lunch at the Science Center. Prior to your visit, please label each child’s lunch and pack all lunches in a large box (provided by you) with the school’s name clearly written on each box. Upon your arrival, you will receive specific storage information from a staff member.

Science Demonstrations and Hands-On Workshops
Great Lakes Science Center offers a wide variety of FREE science demonstrations tailored to individual grade levels. We also offer a wide variety of immersive, hands-on science workshops on topics such as space, dissection and crime scene science. Workshop fees vary from $65-$120 per class (up to 30 students.) Directions
The Science Center is located at 601 Erieside Avenue, at North Coast Harbor between the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and the Cleveland Browns Stadium. Look for the silver OMNIMAX® dome.
From the South
Take I-77 North to the East 9th Street exit and stay to your right. Take East 9th Street North. Turn left onto Erieside Avenue.
From the East
Take I-90 West (Route 2) to the East 9th Street exit. Turn right on East 9th Street and take an immediate left onto Erieside Avenue.
From the West
Take I-90 East to East 9th Street exit. Turn left on East 9th Street. Turn left onto Erieside Avenue.

Ride the RTA Waterfront Line, with convenient access from East 9th Street.

Parking
Buses
Paid parking is available in the Port Authority lot north of Cleveland Browns stadium. For groups visiting the Science Center the bus rate is $15, with identification to be obtained on arrival. Our staff will direct drivers.
Cars and Other Vehicles
All vehicles under 6'10” may park at the Great Lakes Science Center Parking Garage for a discounted fee with validated ticket. Vehicles are not permitted in the driveway unless they are for physically handicapped visitors. Call (216) 696-4338 for more information. Prices are subject to change.
