Detour Information For May 18 and 19
Please note that road closures will occur downtown and at North Coast Harbor near Great Lakes Science Center on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 for the Rite Aid Marathon. Great Lakes Science Center will be open and will be accessible via the routes mentioned below. Please plan accordingly and allow extra time to arrive for your visit. Road closures are subject to change.
Current access information for Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19:
- On Saturday, May 18, beginning at 12:00pm, access to Great Lakes Science Center will be maintained ONLY from the westbound East Shoreway, Rt. 2. Guests should exit on E. 9th St. for Science Center access.
- On Sunday, May 19, access to the Great Lakes Science Center will be maintained via W. 3rd St. from downtown streets only through the end of the day. East and West Shoreway exits will be closed.
Rock Your World with STEAM

If you’re downtown on Saturday, join us for Rock Your World with STEAM, a day-long family festival that brings together science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM). Celebrate the talents of more than 2,000 students from 40 schools in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Featuring live performances on six stages, a visual arts show, science and arts showcase, robotics competition, MC² STEM High School Fabrication Laboratory and more. Held on the grounds of Great Lakes Science Center and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Festival activities are free. Regular admission charges apply for Great Lakes Science Center exhibits.

Our flexible pricing structure allows you to choose from among the following attractions: general exhibits (general admission to Great Lakes Science Center and the NASA Glenn Visitor Center, OMNIMAX® Theater or Steamship William G. Mather. Please note that different admission rates apply for members and non-members. Add Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition to any general admission ticket for an additional $10.

Senior and Student Discount
Seniors (65+) and students with proper ID will receive a $1 discount off adult admission prices. Cannot be combined with any other discounts.
Military Discount
A $1 military discount is available to active duty and reservist personnel in the U.S. Armed Forces. Discount applies to user plus one guest. Cannot be combined with any other discounts. User must show Federal Service or Department of Defense ID.

The Great Lakes Science Center parking garage is not available on Browns game days. Area parking rates will increase significantly so please plan your day accordingly.
