About the Camps

Good Vibrations
Snap, Buzz, Pop. Sound is everywhere! Examine our sound exhibits and learn how sound acts just like a slinky to produce noises, make your own musical instrument and discover how important those pinnae are on the side of your head!  Enjoy the OMNIMAX movie, Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag.

LEGO: Ultimate Builder
Join us for a full day of LEGO! Campers in grades K-3 will practice their speed building and creative free building and will compete in a series of LEGO challenges. Campers in grades 4-8 will design, program and build a working robot that reacts to its surroundings using the latest in LEGO NXT technology. Watch the OMNIMAX movie, Sea Rex.

Journey into Space
Join us as we explore all things space in the first phase of our brand-new NASA Glenn Visitor Center galleries! Get hands-on with exhibits, explore the night sky in our planetarium, create star charts, eat astronaut ice cream, build and launch rockets and so much more! Be transported into the Milky Way as you lose yourself in the OMNIMAX movie, Hubble.

Candyology
Explore the fascinating world of sweet treats! Make liquid nitrogen ice cream and discover how much energy is stored in a gummy bear through an explosive demonstration. Transform matter from one state to another, create chemical interactions and learn the importance of brushing teeth after eating sweets. The result? Delicious science experiments! Enjoy the OMNIMAX movie, Dolphins.

Lost Egypt: Modern Science
Learn about funerary rituals in Egypt, inspect actual linen wrappings and discover how modern technology is helping to un-wrap the mysteries of mummies! Try your hand at Egyptian hieroglyphs, experiment with mummification techniques and learn how modern technology brings life to an ancient time. Tour the new special exhibition, Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, Modern Science. Enjoy the OMNIMAX movie, Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs.
