Summer Camps

Great Lakes Science Center – June 15-August 21
Laurel School – June 15-July 10
Brunswick Huntington Elementary – June 15-26
Mentor Lake Elementary – July 13-24

Spend your summer break at camp with Great Lakes Science Center. Children in grades K-8 will enjoy scientific exploration, wacky experiments, making new friends and lots of hands-on fun! These engaging and interactive camp programs are ideal for young scientists, engineers, or any child with a natural sense of curiosity.

Our week-long camps explore topics like astronomy, chemistry, espionage, LEGO robotics, the science of magic and much more!

We're pleased to announce three new locations for our Great Summer Science Day Camps. In addition to our downtown location, we offer camps in the suburban location of Mentor, Brunswick, and the Laurel Schools.

Our new partnership with YMCA Camp Y-Noah extends our Summer Science Day Camps into the Akron area. This camp will blend traditional camp experiences with the fun science exploration found at our day camps.

Spend your winter break at Great Lakes Science Center. Our day-long break camps are designed for kids in grades K-8 and offer plenty of hands-on fun and learning.

All camps meet from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm with extended care options available from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. Campers may bring a brown bag lunch or purchase a lunch.
