Girl Scouts Programs
Great Lakes Science Center has a great variety of hands-on activities specifically designed for Girl Scouts. Whether your Girl Scout troop is coming on a group visit, spending the night at a camp-in or enjoying one of our Girl Scout-specific classes, theres no end to the scientific fun!
Girl Scout Chemistry Day Saturday, Nov. 13
Observe physical and chemical reactions as you mix and pour messy mixtures and crazy concoctions. Make your own slime and learn about the science of "stuff!"
- Messy Mixtures (Brownies) 10 a.m. noon
- Chemical Concoctions (Juniors) 1 3 p.m.
- Includes admission to Great Lakes Science Center, NASA Glenn Visitor Center and special exhibition Strange Matter

Come explore the Science Center and NASA Glenn Visitor Center after dark, watch a special OMNIMAX film, enjoy tasty late-night snacks and breakfast in the morning and sleep among the exhibits (don’t forget your sleeping bag!).
